In Rwanda’s Western Province, Rugali Washing Station sits at 1,550–1,800 m.a.s.l. Established in 2016, it has grown into one of the region’s largest and most important stations.Managed by Balthazar Ndikubwimana, Rugali works with around 1,150 smallholder farmers who deliver approximately 500 tons of cherries annually. Through careful processing and strong collaboration, the station produces clean,consistent coffees that reflect Rwanda’s quality and potential.
